The biostatistics block moves from statistical foundations to model-based inference for biological and ecological questions.

The section is organised as a progression:

  1. statistical thinking and exploratory data analysis,
  2. core hypothesis tests,
  3. regression and model construction,
  4. dependence and model extensions, and
  5. reproducible workflow.
